Lyle Anderson has been in information technology for most of his career. As a management consultant for twenty years, he assisted large corporations in technology planning and internet development. He was the Chief Technology Officer at Aetna and later Bankers Trust Company, then joined News Corporation where he was head of Technology and Operations for TV Guide, Harper Collins and News Corp's emerging internet businesses. Lyle is an avid photographer and often exhibits in the New York and Rhode Island areas.
Elinor Griffith, a former Digester at the Canadian and U.S. companies (31 years producing top articles, compiling magazines/departments, and even involved in a fast-growing RD plot… tomatoes in the employee garden, anyone?), caught the fever for this exhibit in spring 2009. “Nothing had been done locally to preserve the fascinating history of the Wallaces or Reader’s Digest,” says Elinor. “Our undertaking for the New Castle Historical Society is a perfect fit!” When not editing books, marketing/PRing (details are on elinorgriffith.com), or producing corporate histories, Elinor leads cooking trips to Julia Child’s former home in Provence, France.
